Ruth López Morueco

My name is Ruth López Morueco, and I am a member of the Orihuela Bar Association, registered under number 1595. I have 20 years of experience, having previously been a member of the Madrid Bar Association, registered under number 78344.

I graduated in law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where I began working as a solicitor, practising in courts throughout Spain for more than eight years.

A few years ago, I moved to Torrevieja, where I opened my own law firm under the trade name López Morueco Abogados.

Our office is located in the Los Balcones residential area in Torrevieja, which allows us to serve clients from both Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja, due to the proximity between the two towns.

At López Morueco Abogados, we specialise in family law, inheritance, criminal law and urban planning, with most of our clients being foreign nationals, as we specialise in services for non-residents.

At López Morueco Abogados, we can assist our clients in both English and Polish.

Since the firm was established, we have successfully helped numerous foreigners to purchase property in Spain, advising them on all the legal aspects of property transfers, land registry checks and tax payments. At López Morueco Abogados, we also take great care of the after-sales service for the property, as well as providing tax representation for non-residents.

At López Morueco Abogados, we also assist clients who need the services of a solicitor to initiate legal proceedings, whether civil or criminal, including assistance to detainees and criminal defence for those accused of a crime. We specialise in family law proceedings, such as divorces, pension claims, incapacities, separations, etc.

Furthermore, we offer extensive experience in international inheritance proceedings, having resolved highly complex succession cases involving different nationalities of both the deceased and the heirs. In this regard, we offer a comprehensive service to our clients, whereby our firm collects all the documentation and takes care of all the formalities, so that the beneficiary of the inheritance only has to sign the public document allowing them to take possession of the deceased’s assets.
